Dear Diary – My Nerdy Ass Obsession with The Goonies

Goonies is more important than war

This was right when the Gulf War started in ’91. I was ten here and obsessed with The Goonies. My crush on Mikey was for real DEEP. I always liked the unlikely hero best. Maybe I still do!

I also had a Goonies Club at school and filmed a “sequel” AND rewrote the story with me in the cast, as a cheerleader. BWAH! That will be a future scan. Also: “I am still searching.” What a goddamn nerdalish.

marie(1:25:33 PM): someday one would push in and i would slide down to a secret underground tunnel

shaun (1:26:49 PM): i still dream of those things, except there’s a awesome job, apartment, and a delicious man at the bottom of my hole.

I always had a crush on Mouth. I guess I had a thing for assholes from an early age.

Pagne, my godsister was SOOO in love with Mouf. She loved Feldman and I loved Haim. I once did an asshole crush blog long ago, maybe I will do another one on here and we can compare notes?

Funny. I have an anti-war drawing I made when this was started. I was 7. It’s interesting to see how it got to me even though I was in Spain.
